Munyaradzi
Mataruse is a Zimbabwean musician who was born on the 22 January 1988 at Norton
Hospital. He attended Chiedza Primary
School in Norton before going to St
Joseph High School in Zaka.

A product of Pakare Paye Arts Centre founded by
Superstar Oliver Mtukudzi , specializing in lyrical composition,
vocals, instrumental arrangement. He has featured in a number of festivals and performances

About Munya Mataruse neKazevezeve
Munya
Mataruse and Kazevezeve is a 6 piece Zimbabwean based band. The Band was formed in 2005 by
Munyaradzi Mataruse at Pakare Paye Arts Centre which is an arts organization
formed and is managed by Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi. Their music is a unique blend
of styles ranging from Afro Jazz, Katekwe and Jiti (the local traditional
Zimbabwean genre). Their sound is recognizable with intensely catchy Zimbabwean
melodies and smooth vocals.
